A unique white wine hailing from the Venetian lagoon, produced from the native Dorona di Venezia variety grown on the island of Mazzorbo. The 2015 is golden in colour and instantly spicy on the nose with iodine notes and nuances of fleshy yellow fruit. Well-structured, full and velvety on the palate with quince notes and traces of liquorice and honey. Dry, savoury, full and persistent on the finish.
Venissa is a great collector’s white wine with a long life expectancy. The bottle is adorned with a precious sheet of gold leaf which was applied by hand. The bottle was then re-fired on the island of Murano.
