Vassaltis Gramina Assyrtiko 2022 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard white wine from the Cycladic island of Santorini, Greece. Vassaltis Vineyards` Gramina is made from a single vineyard of 100% Assyrtiko which is located in the village of Vourvoulos. The grapes are handpicked before dawn and the whole clusters are pressed straight away to preserve fruit freshness, followed by 12 months maturation on the lees for further complexity. The result is an astonishingly elegant wine that exhibits all the unique characteristics of the indigenous Assyrtiko variety on Santorini`s ocean-influenced, volcanic soils.
