Tommasi is the largest family-owned estate in the Valpolicella Classico area. Grapes are hand-selected from two prime hillside vineyards, the Conca d’Oro and La Groletta. Juice is refermented with Amarone grape skins in the “ripasso” style to produce a richer and more complex wine with aromas of Morello cherry, plum and black pepper with subtle hints of kirsch-soaked raisins.
