Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards is a premium wine producer located on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain in Stellenbosch. Uva Mira, which means ‘Wonderful Grape’ in Latin, is known for its high-altitude vineyards that range from 420 to 620 metres above sea level. Uva Mira is particularly renowned for its Bordeaux-style red blends and varietals, including this Cabernet Franc. Aged for 17 months in French oak barrels [55% new], the wine exudes notes of black cherries, violets, fresh tobacco leaves and earthiness.
