Torres Priorat Salmos 2020 is a full-bodied, blended red wine from the Priorat appellation of Catalan Spain. An elegant blend of Carignan, Syrah and Garnacha, Salmos has been produced by Familia Torres as a tribute to the monks of the Carthusian Monastery of Scala Dei, who arrived in Priorat in 1194 and introduced winegrowing there. It is made from grapes mostly sourced from the family`s La Giberga vineyard in Porrera, where Priorat`s famed llicorella slate soils predominate. This plush red delivers flavours of ripe cherry with vanilla, toast and liquorice. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated, and the finish shows a bright acidity.
