Gueuzerie Tilquin is a Belgian brewery located in Bierghes. The company is known for its lambics, which are beers made from a blend of young and old lambic beers. Lambic beers are spontaneously fermented and made from unmalted wheat and barley. They are fermented in oak barrels and can be aged for several years. This expression is named after the Mure grape, which is a type of black grape that is grown in the Pajottenland region of Belgium. The Mure grape is known for its tart flavour, which is why it is a good choice for use in a fruit lambic beer.
