Termanthia is a high-end red wine produced by Bodega Numanthia in the Toro region of Spain. The winery is known for its focus on producing top-quality wines from the indigenous Tinta de Toro grape variety, a local clone of Tempranillo. The 2006 vintage is characterized by its deep, dark ruby colour and a powerful nose showcasing aromas of ripe black fruits, spices, liquorice, and well-integrated toasty oak. On the palate, this full-bodied wine presents a rich, velvety texture with notes of blackberries, black cherries, and plums, accompanied by hints of dark chocolate, espresso, and sweet spices.
