Takamaka is a family-owned rum producer based on Mahé, the largest island of Seychelles. The distillery was founded in 2002 by Richard and Bernard d’Offay, who were determined to make rum with authenticity. ‘Overproof’ is their flagship white rum, a blend of column and pot still molasses-based rums. Bottled at a robust 69% ABV, expect notes of tropical fruits, white peaches, pepper and some grassy accents. Perfect in a Daiquiri.
