Jean-Luc Colombo is one of the most celebrated producers in the Rhône Valley. Now with daughter Laure also at the helm, the winery continues to go from strength to strength, crafting wines of precision, finesse and undeniable regional typicity. La Belle de Mai is a medium to full-bodied yet beautifully poised blend of 70% Roussanne and 30% Marsanne from Saint-Péray, exhibiting delicious notes of white orchard fruits, brioche, vanilla and hawthorn blossom. Perhaps best when drunk alongside food, this would pair brilliantly with roasted poultry or white fish in a butter sauce.
