Springbank 22 Year Old Batch 16 TBWC

Batch 16 of That Boutique-y Whisky Company`s excellent run of independently bottled Springbank releases. A nose of stewed ginger, light wood smoke and spices combines with untuous dates and caramel aromas. The palate is nutty with Christmas cake spice and dried fruit notes along with yet more peat and a touch of botanical bitterness. The finish is full and satisfying with oak char, dried fruit and yet more smokey spice. This batch is 22 years aged in oak and limited to just 987 bottles.
