Located in St Helena, Spottswoode is a family-owned estate that has been producing wine for multiple generations. There are currently 17 hectares of vines planted, and the vineyards have been certified organic since 1992. This Cabernet Sauvignon from the 1991 vintage is in a great spot right now, evoking aromas of blackberries, cassis, lilac and sage. The palate is elegant and nuanced, combining notes of black fruit, layers of flowers, cedar, spice and sweet oak.
