Silver Oak is a highly esteemed winery located in California, with a strong focus on producing exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Founded in 1972 by Raymond Twomey Duncan and Justin Meyer, Silver Oak has vineyards in both Napa Valley and Alexander Valley, where this release comes from. The 1980 vintage experienced a moderate growing season, resulting in wines with well-balanced fruit and acidity. Expect notes of ripe fruit, earthy, savoury accents, and delicate nuances of spices.
