Though somewhat neglected until the early 90s, Weingut Schloss Lieser has, under the direction of Thomas Haag, gone from strength to strength ever since and is now widely considered to be one of the premier estates in the Mosel Valley. This is a lighter, off-dry Riesling made in a juicy and racy style. It is bottle with some residual sugar, making it the ideal pairing for aromatic and mildly spicy Asian dishes.
