Born to an entrepreneur in Washington DC, Alex Gambal ventured to Burgundy in the 1990s to collaborate with broker Becky Wasserman. His initial involvement led him to establish his own négociant company, a venture he later decided to sell to Jean-Claude Boisset in 2019. While not as widely recognized as some names in the Burgundy wine scene, Savigny-lès-Beaune holds distinction as one of the region`s more prolific appellations.
