Cantina Santadi Terre Brune 2019 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Carignan (90%) and Bovaleddu (10%) grapes in the Sulcis region of Sardinia. The grapes for this plush, concentrated red are sourced from old, low-yielding bush vines growing in clay and sandy soils. The wine is matured in new French barriques for 18 months. Rich and palate-coating plum and blackberry fruit are complemented by hints of chocolate tobacco and baking spice. A wine to savour now with robust meat dishes or to cellar for up to 10 years.
