San Luigi Fidenzio 2004 is a full-bodied Bordeaux-style red wine from the Tuscany region of central Italy. Renowned for its rarity (owing to its small production and inconsistent distribution) as much as its sumptuousness, Fidenzio is one of the most sought-after red wines of Tuscany. It is made up of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot from vineyards on the Tuscan coast. "The 2004 Fidenzio has the elements of a great wine in the making because the fruit, aromatics and structural components are all aging at a similar pace. Still a few years from its early peak, the 2004 offers up a compelling array of grilled herbs, pipe tobacco, dark fruit and graphite in a full-bodied, sumptuous style.
