Founded in 2019 in the quaint West Coast town of Vredendal, Sakkie Mouton Family Wines is a small, independent winery. They employ minimal intervention winemaking to authentically showcase each vineyard. Sourced from young vines situated 15 kilometres from the chilly Atlantic Ocean in Koekenaap on the West Coast of South Africa, this is a 100% Vermentino. The wine offers floral notes of lime, peach, minerals, and kelp on the nose. The palate is intense, featuring a saline touch from the skin contact element, accompanied by layers of fruit and minerality.
