Born to an entrepreneur in Washington DC, Alex Gambal ventured to Burgundy in the 1990s to collaborate with broker Becky Wasserman. His initial involvement led him to establish his own négociant company, a venture he later decided to sell to Jean-Claude Boisset in 2019. This wine was sourced from ‘Murgers des Dents de Chien’, a Premier Cru vineyard high on the Côte d`Or escarpment in the Saint-Aubin appellation. Although the 2014 Burgundy faced initial challenges, it ultimately yielded a commendable vintage.
