Established in 1908, Ron Abuelo is Panama`s oldest and best-known rum brand. It`s distilled at Hacienda San Isidro in the Las Cabras area, a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Panama City. The exceptional Abuelo XV is a 15-year-old expression that was first matured in American oak barrels, and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a rum with real depth, including notes of dry fruits, citrus, wood and a touch of smoke.
