A beautifully aged rum hailing from Panama, the 12-year-old Ron Abuelo is aged in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at an approachable 40% ABV. The nose reveals dense aromas such as prunes, roasted nuts, fruitcake, oak and even a touch of leather. Slightly richer on the palate, which carries sweet flavours of Christmas cake, cherry jam and maple syrup.
