Riedel was originally established in Bohemia in the mid-18th century and has since grown to one of the world`s most respected manufacturers of fine glassware. The Syrah/Shiraz glass is perfect for balancing the gripping tannins and concentrated fruit typical of medium-bodied red wines. The extreme angles of the diamond shape works beautifully for big and bold New World wines, giving more space for aromas to develop. The large bowl is balanced by its slightly tapered opening, allowing the wine to best showcase intense aromas and mouth-filling fruit, dignified structure, and a long sweet finish on the palate.
