For many fine wine aficionados, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the pinnacle of wine. Run for many years by the indefatigable Aubert de Villaine, the domaine consists of 25 hectares of biodynamically tended vineyards, all of which are of Grand Cru classification and includes some of the greatest terroirs in Burgundy. A very rare find on the shelves here at Hedonism, this a beautifully mature 1993 with a spicy, dark fruited profile, excellent weight on the palate, structured tannins and a lingering finish.
