This carrot eau-de-vie expression from Austrian producer Hans Reisetbauer will have you rethinking brandy altogether. Harvested in September and October, it takes approximately 35 kg of carrots to make one litre of this distinctive spirt. It is a slightly earthy and savoury expression but there are also hints of sweet stone fruit, hazelnuts, quince and vanilla.
