Ravenswood Winery began in 1976 with pioneering winemaker Joel Peterson at the helm and has forged a reputation as one of the finest producers of Zinfandel in California. The Old Hill Vineyard in the Sonoma Valley is the oldest in the Ravenswood portfolio having been planted in around 1880. The 1992 offers massive concentration of black cherry fruit, oodles of spice and a thick, glycerine finish.
