Ramey Annum Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 is a mature Cabernet Sauvignon blend from the Napa Valley of California. Ramey Wine Cellars was established by David and Carla Ramey in 1996. Winemaker David Ramey takes his inspiration from the Old World - from Burgundy and Bordeaux. He worked at Château Petrus - in addition to such lauded wineries as Matanzas Creek and Dominus in the US - prior to launching his own label. These are highly admired terroir wines which combine Old World sensibilities and techniques to the perfectly ripe fruit of the Napa and Sonoma regions of California. Annum is a blend of various sites in Napa. The 2011 is made up of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc and was matured for 19 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
