‘Quimera’ is a blend of several grape varieties, typically including Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, sourced from various vineyards in Mendoza. The grapes were hand-harvested and underwent a careful selection process in the winery. The wine was then aged for approximately 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels, imparting subtle oak influence and adding complexity to the final blend. On the nose, expect black and red fruits, such as blackberries, cherries and plums, alongside floral notes, spices, hints of tobacco and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is well-structured and balanced, with a medium to full body, fine-grained tannins, and a persistent finish.
