The Cantele family has been involved in winemaking for over four generations, and their own winery was officially established in 1979 by Giovanni and Teresa Cantele. Today, the estate is run by their sons, Augusto and Domenico Cantele. The estate owns and manages vineyards across various sites in Puglia, including in the Salento and Valle d`Itria regions. They cultivate both indigenous and international grape varieties, such as Negroamaro, Chardonnay, Fiano, and more. The Cantele Primitivo Fanoi is known for its rich and concentrated flavours. It typically exhibits aromas of ripe dark fruits such as blackberry and plum, complemented by hints of spice, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied with velvety tannins and a good balance between fruitiness and structure.
