A blend of the finest Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and a small percentage of Carménère grapes that express the unique terroir of one of the Mortelle estate’s very best vineyards. The estate is situated in the heart of the Maremma in Tuscany, near the town of Castiglione della Pescaia and forms part of the prestigious Antinori portfolio. On the nose, the 2016 vintage displays classic notes of blackcurrant and blackberries, balanced by spicy and balsamic notes Ample on the palate, with elegant tannins and a long finish with tobacco and dark chocolate nuances.
