Plantation Panama 2010 is a newly released limited edition Terravera rum that seeks to capture the true essence of rum`s origin – terroir. Distilled in 2010 at Don José Distillery in Panama, this expression was meticulously crafted by Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel, the creative force behind Plantation rums. Starting with molasses fermentation over a period of 2 days, the distillation process utilizes a continuous column still. The rum undergoes tropical ageing in ex-bourbon barrels for 8 years in Panama before making its journey to Europe. Upon arrival, it experiences continental ageing in France, spending up to 5 years in ex-cognac Ferrand casks, a hallmark of the distinctive Plantation brand.
