The Pichler Krutzler Kellerberg Riesling 2016 is made from grapes sourced from the prestigious Kellerberg vineyard, which is known for its steep terraces and mineral-rich soils. This particular vineyard enjoys a unique microclimate, allowing the Riesling grapes to fully ripen and develop complex flavours. "Zesty ripeness on the nose speaks of russet pear, juicy Mirabelle plum and Amalfi lemon. On the palate a feeling of pebble and stone lends a sober, austere note to the fruity exuberance that starts shimmering with riper, rounder citrus. The palate is concentrated and tapers toward a very zesty, mouthwatering, dry finish that tingles with tangerine peel notions." Wine Enthusiast, 2020
