Mathias Hirtzberger initially ventured into a short-lived banking career before feeling a compelling return to his Wachau origins. In 2014, an opportunity emerged to secure some family vineyards in Wösendorf and Mathias seized the opportunity to establish his own domaine. This specific release originates from the Kollmitz, where their Riesling thrives on one of the highest points. Positioned at 340 metres above sea level, the vines flourish in barren soil, enjoying the extended hours of sunshine in the south-east to west-facing terraced location.
