Each year since 2007, the Kentucky-based Heaven Hill Distillery selects a special whiskey to be released in the name of their late Master Distiller Parker Beam, who passed away in 2017. The 7th edition was named ‘Promise of Hope’ and it is also unique in that it is the first single barrel Bourbon to be released in the series. The whiskey is 10 years old and bottled without chill-filtering at Parker’s preferred strength of 48% ABV.
