Located in the town of Laguardia in Rioja Alavesa, Artadi has gained recognition despite its departure from the local Rioja wine body. This particular release falls under the Vino de Mesa classification and was produced from Tempranillo vines planted in 1945. It underwent an 18-month ageing process in new French oak. The wine exhibits a deep garnet red hue and aromas of dried cherries, cranberries, leather, tobacco, and dried roses. With a medium body, it has a soft and elegant texture, a dry mouthfeel, saline notes, and concludes with velvety tannins. Presented here in a magnum bottle.
