Teso La Monja 2019 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Tinto de Toro grapes in the Toro region of Spain. A stellar red made from 100% Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo). Individual berries are hand-selected before the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in an open wooden cask. Malolactic fermentation takes place in a Taransaud oak egg and this is followed by maturation in new French oak Bordelaise barrels for a minimum of 24 months. A ripe and oaky wine with wonderful floral aromatics and gloriously warming alcohol. Drink now - 2035.
