Nonino Amaro Quintessentia di Erbe Riserva is a premium amaro produced by Grappa Nonino in Percoto, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of northern Italy. Founded in 1897, Grappa Nonino has become a byword for super-premium distillates and was a pioneer of single-variety and vineyard-focused grappas in the 1970s. Produced in memory of Antonio Nononi, the third generation of the Nonino family to produce grappa and the creator of the original recipe for Amaro Carnia (an infusion of herbs from the mountains of Friuli, using the grappa as the base), Nonino`s Amaro Quintessentia di Erbe Riserva is aged in Limousin, Nevers barriques and small ex-Sherry barrels for 24 months before bottling.
