Opened in November 2017, the Noguchi Naohiko Sake Institute is named after one of the most prominent sake brewers in Japan. Noguchi Naohiko 01 is the first sake of the ‘Limited Edition’ series and was chosen as the best batch from amongst dozens of tanks by Noguchi himself. This super-premium sake carries exotic aromas of melon, green apple, pear and tropical fruits. The palate has a creamy texture, with notes of lime zest and sweet toffee. The liquid is presented in a lavish, asymmetrical glass bottle designed by the artist and designer Toshio Ohi. Only 5,500 bottles have been produced.
