Daniel Landi and Fernando García, both accomplished winemakers with successful individual ventures at Bodegas Jimenez-Landi and Bodega Marañones, respectively, joined forces in 2008 to create a collaborative winemaking project. Comando G. Alongside Priorat pioneers, Dani and Fer are reshaping the perception of Garnacha, traditionally considered a workhorse variety. `Navatalgordo` is a recent addition to the lineup of wines crafted under the designation of `Vino de Pueblo.` It is made from 100% Garnacha sourced from vines that are approximately 60 years old. They are rooted in granitic soil at an elevation of 1100 meters, marking the highest point in the Sierra de Gredos.
