"MouTai Kweichow Flying Fairy Baijiu (2023 Release) is a premium baijiu produced in Moutai, Guizhou Province. This is an iconic Chinese spirit and one of the world`s most popular brands. It is distilled wine processed from repeated fermentation and distillation of sorghums and wheats. On the nose – a bright, sweet estery scent with notes of white rum and tropical fruits like overripe bananas and Asian peaches. As it evolves, crisp fruits like Asian pear, lychees, and mangosteens emerge, deepening into toasted sesame, shoyu, and umami-rich flavours.
The palate offers a complex blend of honeyed sweetness and a gentle petrol-like edge, balanced by a crisp, tart, and slightly mineral profile. The finish is long and mellow."
