Moulin Touchais Coteaux du Layon 1984 is a mature-vintage sweet wine from the Loire Valley of northern France. Moulin Touchais is an iconic producer of the classic Loire Valley sweet wine, Coteaux du Layon. Slightly less rich and sweet than other dessert wines, it is produced from Chenin Blanc and typically contains between 70-80g of residual sugar. These wines truly come into their own after several decades in bottle. This 1984 vintage offers complex, evolved notes of honeycomb, toffee apple and brandy. It is sweet-savoury and still possesses an impressive brightness of acidity.
