Morlet Coup de Coeur Chardonnay 2019 is a full-bodied barrel-aged Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast of California. Blended from specially selected barrels by the hugely experienced Champagne-born winemaker Luc Morlet, this Chardonnay is the pinnacle of the winery`s output and a supreme example of Old World principles adapted to prime Californian terroir. "A magical Sonoma Coast release that tops out my scale. White flowers, lemon curd, honeyed toast, almond paste, and chalky mineral are just some of the nuances here, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a pure, layered, incredible texture, integrated acidity, and one heck of a long finish.
