Madrechiesa represents the selection of a single vineyard and the highest expression of the Sangiovese grapes, which a hand-harvested. The wine is aged for 12 months in large oak barrels and an additional 6 months in bottle. The colour is intense ruby red, with garnet reflections. The nose is dominated by small red berries, spices and a light note of tar. The body is full and balanced, with mature and well-developed tannins.
