An exceptionally concentrated Napa Chardonnay, matured for 10 months in French oak [10% new]. On the nose, expect floral and citrus aromas such as rose petals, lemon blossom, and a subtle hint of ripe melon. The palate combines flavours of lemon meringue, peaches, and ripe strawberries, all complemented by a vibrant acidity. True to Montelena`s signature style, the finish is marked by mineral notes taking centre stage, followed by a touch of orange zest and the richness of crème brûlée. The 2013 vintage is presented here in a magnum format.
