This is the second label of Château Troplong Mondot, the Premier Grand Cru Classé [B] from Saint-Émilion. The estate was formed in the late 1800s when Raymond-Theodore Troplong bought and expanded the Mondot property. ‘Mondot’ is sourced from younger vines and it’s typically a juicy and fresh expression, featuring notes of dark plums, cassis and hints of vanilla.
