Mission Hill Oculus is a flagship red wine produced by Mission Hill Family Estate, a well-known winery located in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. The winery is committed to sustainable viticulture practices and is known for its picturesque setting and stunning architecture. The 2018 Mission Hill Oculus is a Bordeaux-style blend made from a selection of grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The grapes are sourced from some of the best vineyards in the Okanagan Valley, and each variety is fermented and aged separately in French oak barrels before blending and bottling. The wine typically undergoes an extended period of aging, allowing for the development of complex flavours and a refined structure.
