Part of the Alma Carraovejas Group, Milsetentayseis is a special cuvée named after the highest vineyard in the Ribera del Duero, at 1,076 metres above sea-level. This release is a blend of 95% Tempranillo and a small amount of other native grape varieties, sourced from the best Fuentenebro plots that aim to reinterpret the Ribera del Duero. Its freshness and intense mouthfeel are representative of a modern style, moving away from excess, in search of the elegance, smoothness and balance found in the great wines of the world. The 2018 vintage is presented here in a magnum format.
