Michter's is a distinguished American whiskey brand with a rich history that dates back to the 1700s. Originally founded in Pennsylvania, the brand has since moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where it continues to produce some of the world's most sought-after bourbons, ryes, and American whiskeys.
Michter's takes great care in the production of their whiskies, sourcing only the finest grains and utilizing traditional methods to create their distinct character. One of Michter's most popular offerings is their US*1 Bourbon, which is made from a carefully selected blend of corn, rye, and barley. The bourbon is aged for several years in charred oak barrels, resulting in a smooth and complex flavor profile with notes of caramel, vanilla, and spice. Michter's also produces a range of rye whiskeys, including their US*1 Single Barrel Rye, which is made from a mash bill of 100% rye and aged in fire-charred, new American oak barrels. The resulting whiskey is spicy and bold, with notes of pepper, cinnamon, and dried fruit.
