Based in Bouze-Lès-Beaune [Burgundy], Maison Michel Couvreur sources exceptional malts from Scotland and matures them in hand-picked barrels in cellars beneath a château. This Overaged Malt Whisky is a blend of approximately 50 different single malts matured for between 12 and 27 years in ex-sherry casks. Expect notes of roasted nuts, toffee, tobacco, honey, florals and a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’.
