Mezcal Gem and Bolt is made from the agave Espadin from San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca. It’s produced by fourth generation master mezcalero, Ignacio Martinez and his family using traditional methods. The traditional Mexican herb Damiana is added just before the second distillation in stainless-steel-copper alloy stills. This a mystical herb, once revered by the Aztecs for its mood-elevating and aphrodisiac properties. Less smoky than standard mezcal, this is a sweet, floral spirit with subtle herbal notes.
