Based in Auxey-Duresses, Terres de Velle is a relatively new Burgundy producer which was established in 2009 by husband-and-wife team Sophie and Fabrice Laronze. The vineyards are ploughed and are mostly run organically. These are smart wines, offering a good range in both colours. This release is their village-level Meursault, hailing from a 0.26-hectare vineyard. The wine is typically aged in barrel for 12 months with a further 6 months in tank before bottling without filtering.
