Lucien Le Moine is a small, independent wine merchant founded by Mounir and Rotem Saouma in 1999. They specialize in sourcing Premier and Grand Cru wines from Burgundy, which they then age in their vaulted cellar in Beaune. There is no winemaking involved as the wines reach them after fermentation. This particular cuvée comes from Meursault’s Premier Cru ‘Les Plures’, a rare appellation to be seen on labels. The 2021 vintage has great potential, and it is worth waiting a few years to enjoy it at its best.
